The protection provided by a single application of Autan Protection Plus Tick Repellent lasts up to 12 hours against ticks and up to 10 hours against mosquitoes, making it ideal for use as a tick repellent in the garden. The active ingredient Icaridin (also known as Bayrepel) ensures that ticks and mosquitoes are repelled. It is important that you apply the tick spray against insect bites without any gaps and repeat the application as required. For example, you would need to use 6 to 7 sprays (approx. 1 ml) for the area of a forearm. To apply to the face, spray the anti-tick spray onto the palms of your hands and then spread over the face - but please avoid the eye area. As mosquitoes can also bite through thin clothing, you should also apply the mosquito repellent spray under clothing if necessary. Autan has of course been dermatologically tested.

Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C/122 °F.
Use only according to instructions. Do not use on children under 2 years of age. Do not use on children's hands. Do not use on damaged skin (e.g. sunburn). For external use only. If irritation or irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Spray the product evenly onto all areas of skin to be protected and then rub in completely by hand. We recommend using approx. 6-7 sprays/~1ml for the area of a forearm, for example. To use on the face, spray directly into the palm of your hand and spread sparingly over the face, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Do not spray on children's hands. If the effect wears off, apply again as described.
